After a couple of months of scattered text messages and fiercely competitive games of Words With Friends, our love story truly took shape in red polka-dot swim trunks and a cute yellow bikini.

On September 28, 2019, we went on our first official date at Cilantro and Chive in Lacombe. It didn’t take long for us to realize we wanted to see each other again. So much so, in fact, that we both took the liberty of telling a small fib and claimed we already had “plans” to attend a music festival at the West Edmonton Mall Water Park the following weekend. Not everything that night went according to plan (feel free to ask us about it at the wedding), but what did go exactly right was the beginning of our forever.

Fast forward five timeless years and countless unforgettable memories. We truly tested our relationship over this period of time; living together through COVID-19, traveling the world, tackling home renovations, and everything in between. Through it all, Garrett (finally) decided it was time to give Kelsey what they both always knew was inevitable.

On a trip that will forever be one of our all-time favorites, Garrett proposed at Tonquin Beach in Tofino. And just like that, the next chapter of our story began.
